Beetwen 1945- 1990 here was made: 500.000 t industrial equipment, and beetwen 1967- 1990 here was made 5.215 diesel-hydraulic locomotive (whith power engine beetwen 100- 2.600 hp), of which 1.670 locomotives was exportet. Also, "23 August" was the only provider at diesel engine, for romanian oil drilling ring, known in all the world. "Republica" factory made pipe.

    Between 1913- 1914 was build railway yard "Bucuresti Triaj", from a initiative of Alexandru Pereiteanu, at that time, head-office of 'Romanian Railways". In the past, it had 32 traks, and now 16 traks (in section "B").
